Except that's precisely why?
Sure , if that person of interest to establishment is a perceived threat, ....but why should I be monitored as well,
Believe it or not i'm not a threat to public security, but e - I.D me ,then I am,
As I said earlier we are already being monitored anyway.
There must be a reason why I have this high pitched beeping in my ears, and my eyes contra rotating in my head!
Just I think there's enough out there already

The beepiing will be the battery running out on the implant that you got with your Covid jab.😉

It won’t be used to monitor you. And if you suspect they might do in the future due to overreach then there’s plenty of ways they can and possibly already are (phone tracking, anpr, card payments, cctv, facial recognition). They have no need to create an expensive and elaborate monitoring system when they have multiple ways already at their disposal.

And anyone who thinks they can’t be tracked currently (only use cash and don’5 have a smart phone etc) are mistaken. To live truly off the grid takes a concerted effort which I doubt many can achieve.

The phrase used by judges in olden times, 'The man on the Clapham omnibus'. An omnibus is what we would just call a bus these days. Maybe an omnibus is one of those horse drawn buses from the 19th Century. Omnibus is Latin for 'everyone' only it is in the ablative plural. But the English omnibus was a vehicle. So how would you translate the phrase, 'The man on the Clapham omnibus,' into Latin?

The first (or very early) buses were in France, Omnibus voiture they were called, which translates into Latin as omnibus currus

Since when has RIP meant 'Rest In Power'? I've seen it used on the web dozens of times.

Ever since LOL changed from being 'Lots Of Love' into laugh out loud.

Mobile phones won’t be compulsory for id cards. The full spec is yet to be finalised but there’ll be an offline version if required.

Yes - they HAVE to account for people who cannot - or do not want to - carry around a mobile phone

for example - last school I taught at was terrible for mobile phone contact with parents
a lot of them kept changing their phone numbers - could be up to 4-5 times a year

now some of that may be on slightly dodgy side but that is not relevant
so their "fixed ID" sort of thing would be something they did not have access to
and would possibly not want

and my Mum and Dad were just not capable of using a mobile phone for the last 10 or more years of their life due to medical issues

so there have to be other options that are accessible to people who do not fit in with the majority

Except that some have millions and followers and make millions in product placements. For some brands and items it’s one of the most powerful forms of advertising. So, yes, influencers is entirely correct and appropriate.
