A wooden toothpick is as good a thing as any for this

I alway found a toothpick was a tiny bit too thick to get to the bottom
and sometimes the sharp point was needed to dig out the compressed crud from a teenagers phone which had been hidden in the bottom of her bag for weeks on end

But yes - if using a sharp point be VERY gentle

Definitely be careful when howking about in there.

Also, once it's sorted, make sure you put your phone in your pocket with the USB port pointing "up", or get a cover with a flap to cover to cover it.
