Keep them a bit longer. Might have turned into Surströmming in another few years.
Bin them or not? Yes I'd say as eating nearly 9 year old tinned anchovies just doesn't seem safe, even if the tin is undamaged. I found them at the back of my tinned/dried food cupboard a short while ago while rooting for something else.

Am I really the only one who genuinely couldn't give a flying f**k about 'Banksy' and who he supposedly is?
Can anyone explain why it's going to be better to have a load of smashed up glass mixed in with the rest of the recycling rather than have the glass all separate?
When you say separate do you mean yet another bin just for glass ??
We currently have a bin for paper, card, plastic etc. Separate box for glass. As of tomorrow it all goes in together.
Supposedly we're getting a food waste receptacle of some sort in the near future.
Going to be awkward here, it's not.It might upset someone and they might feel offended??
I saw a programme on mediacl students and the like and it included how they are trained to tell people that someone has died
They HAVE to say the person has died - nice and gently and with sympathy
but using ANY other word can give hope and some people will look for the slightest glimmer of it not being true
dead is final*
passed away or passed on can - for someone whose brain just does not want to accept it - can be twisted into something else
Unlived (or unalived) is dumb enough to do the same

Because they will have a machine that can separate it, going back about 10 years ago I regularly went to an electronics recycling facility for work they had a machine that was fed old T.V's monitors. laptops, electronic toys etc that smashed them up,& you ended up with bags of glass, plastic, PCB's & metal parts, all neatly separated & sent on to other companies that would recycle that particular item,it was amazing to see
Why are the best surgeons called eminent ?
