The current thinking is that he had Bi Polar disorder. I watched a documentary on him the other day, it might have been a Lucy Worsley thing.

Yes, I was just reading about it here.

Look at 'History' and 'Notable Cases'... Although, the bit about Vampires and Werewolves is also interesting! 😆

FWIW, it appears that some Royals have, indeed been diagnosed with it, and George apparently did have the 'purple' pee so... 🤷‍♂️:

In the documentary they had the diaries of his personal staff including his valets and doctors and from that they could say they were pretty sure he didn’t have Porphyria. His behaviour at times suggested someone having a manic episode I.e. on the go for days and lots of delusional ideas.

Fair enough, I guess the experts will know better than us (or me anyway).

Imagine we had a time machine and we could go back and solve all these things? 🤔

where does Garmin get its weather data from that it attaches to an activity ? I dont mean the temp across the whole ride, just the little summary bit it gives.

because Id like to know how it thinks the weather on my ride at the weekend was a cool 22C, in comparison to the near 33C temp I was riding in for the majority. Its not even just the average temp across the whole ride, that came out at 29C.

From Garmin Connect on paired phone. You can see same data on the glances if you have added the weather one.

Yes, Charles the 3rd is the current Monarch.

There was a film from a few years back called 'The Madness Of King George', staring Nigel Hawthorne (I think. Lord Appleby in 'Yes (Prime) Minister' anyway).
It's very good, although I've not seen it in years.

They reckon he (the real King George) was suffering from Porphyria or similar, but at the time, nobody really knew what it was, which naturally made it worse.

The film's title was changed from "The Madness of George III" because American audiences would think it was a sequel and not go to see it, assuming they had missed "I" and "II.
