If the video was American, then, well...

The video was about the supposed palm trees in Torquay, which were imported from New Zealand in the 19th century.😉 They aren't palm trees, but something else, which I can't remember. 😉

Yes but it could have been done on his behalf/dying wish, etc.
It'd all be rather odd and probably illegal anyway, I mean, imagine marrying a corpse?

But in short, if he gave permission before and/or the bride was also a right raving Necrophiliac (spelling), then it could, in theory, be possible.
I mean, as long as the corpe is still in a physical state, then... Oh and there are 'ashes' anyway!!

I am not sure the wedding night would be up to much though... 😆

I'll get me coat...

Cordyline australis I reckon your thinkin of. ^_^

What do such trees produce? It's bugging me as I can't find the video now. The video was about how Torquay and surrounding villages became major tourist attractions for the well off Victorians. Torquay went from a population of around 850 to 25,000 in 20 years. When in my youth, I remember watching some lads I knew getting on a coach to Torquay for the annual Blackburn and district wakes weeks holiday. Those of us left behind thought they were very adventurous, seeing as Blackpool and Morecambe would've been our usual holiday destinations of such times!😉
