Just back from picking this Raleigh up and associated spares .

It's been hiding in a garage loft for a few years after being a time trial machine .

Frame number is WA9000113 with a 4 on the left and an S on the right .

Just need @midlife to tell me exactly what model it is please

It's a Raleigh badged Carlton Pro from 1979. Not sure why but Raleigh nicked a few and kept them in Carlton Team Silver Lustre. Others they decked out in the usual Raleigh Livery.

That's it for sure , i don't remember any Carlton pro am's having the slotted bottom bracket shell or being that light

It's not a pro-am but a Professional.... The ones the team used to ride. Robert Millar rode one in 1978 to some championship but can't remember which off the top of my head.

Yours has been decked out as a TT machine with lightweight stuff, including what looks like a Huret Jubilee rear mech..... I wonder what other goodies there is? Wheels look like low spoke jobbies with radial front. Rims probably Medale D'or
