Had a bit of time on this today and have just come back from it's maiden voyage up and down the cul de sac

As predicted the Huret rear is struggling to push the chain up on to the massive 24 rear cog so might have to change that along with the modolo brake lever which feel like they could snap off at any moment .

All in all it felt really nice and lively .

Thinking about swapping both the mechanism's over to the campagnolo units that came with my latest Ian May donor bike .

Mechs on the green May are Nuovo Gran Sport. Despite being the cheap sibling to Nuovo Record the rear mech works really well. Can handle 26 but can be pushed to 28...... Just lol

Components befitting a special bike !
Didn't I see some brake levers in that bag of bits ?
It is interesting to see that those rims show a slight bulge where every hole has been made in the rims !

Yeah they are not the prettiest rims seeing as a lot of the anodising has been lost

Got a few choices for levers so will see once i get to that stage , at the moment i just want to get a few more short miles done to make sure all is working ok
