Anyone know what the frame clearances for a RRS are like. Any chance of 25/28mm tyres + narrow guards?

I did the same, but I know 28mm tyres will fit as I have them on mine. Not sure about the guards though.

I've had a mint 23.5" frame for years, and was thinking that if there were frame clearances for 25 or 28mm tyres + Roadracer crud II or the like on, that would be an incentive. It would be good to finally do something with, as an all year round bike - not rebuilding as a 'retro', but just getting into condition to do longer rides, at any time of year.

I've no idea of the frame geometries etc, or how it would ride, so any experiences would be good, plus any tips generally...

have you any wheels on an existing road frame - you could try them with the tyres you have and measure the rest.

pictures would be good if you are rebuilding, its always nice to see what other people are doing.

So the tyres would 1 inch and a 1 1/8th inch in old money. I would have thought that they should fit, but I am not an expert.
