Is it a sandwich which is the best thing since sliced bread?

When i was a kid sliced bread came thin, medium or thick cut.

These days thick cut seems to be the thin cut of my youth, if you want medium you now need to by XX thick.

Modern life is rubbish.

After gently pressurising it with a 4x4, you could always pick the gravel out, soak it in batter, and deep fry it for an hour or so. There are people, so I'm told, who will eat deep fried anything.

First layer 4 longitudinal 1 transverse across the top, second layer 5 transverse. You have to start at the top though as the two transverse stacked together tend to fall out..

Fish finger butties are best with a small (only because a large amount would fall off and/or soak the bread) amount of mushy peas on them.
