I don't think LOOK P26 exist anymore but here's a cheap dodge so you can ride your favourite Road Bike down to the Pub and stagger back home pushing it:

PS Doing that would be a nightmare on the high end pedals - the tension is high..hard enough pulling a shoe out by hand...

haha i found that out the hard way. a real bastard to get out!


I have seen a fair few people riding around with the SPD-SL/look etc.. style pedal with there standard shoe.. i don't know how they do it, next to no grip with a normal shoe!

I just roll the black part back and turn the cleat out but I had to practice, I thought of drilling a hole in the middle of the black part so I could lever open the pedal, still its fun riding round in ordinary shoes................stay tuned, my next project involves pop rivetting bedroom slippers to the pedals for those early morning runs by the Durance river here, twas +2°C this morning 25°C at midday

i have a pair of look pedals which have a flat side and a delta cleat side. proper reflectors on them too, are great for if you need to ride to the pub in normal shoes.
