Hi all,
Have recently purchased a Cube Agree GTC Pro. Really happy with it, but when I got it home, I noticed that there was a lot of noise and the chain was skipping intermittently.
To cut a long story short, I took it back to the place I bought it from and it turned out to be a problem with the derailleur hanger which was slightly bent.
They tuned the bike after replacing the hanger, and showed me it was running like a dream. Since I got it home today though, it still runs a lot better, but still a little noisier than I would expect.
When I'm riding it though, things also seem a slightly noisier and slightly clunky when running through the gears.
I've tried adjusting the cable tension and made slight changes to the H and L screws but I'm unable to improve it any further. I've also looked at a couple of hints and tips for rear derailleur adjustment, but still no joy.
I would have thought on a new bike, this should run a lot smoother from the outset.
Any feedback or tips on this would be gratefully received, as I don't fancy another long trip back to the shop, especially now that they have fixed the original issue and demonstrated it was working at the time.
Thanks everyone
Mike
