I came up with a logo nurture, grow succeed... For a local primary school I was governor at...

And a local secondary school nicked it!!

What is the CTC selling and to whom?

It's soul and to the dark side of perceived worldliness

I like the new look. To my eyes the strong colours pull together what was a rather insipid website.

Commercially minded retailers know that getting this stuff right makes a world of difference - think Coca-Cola for instance.

They also know that change will be difficult for customers/members who enjoyed a previous format.

Just as an FIY, a similar change happened in France and the FFCT (French federation of cycle tourism) became FFVelo. That said, the FFCT acronym is still liberally used. I've no idea if the rebrand created a similar upset but I'd guess it did.

This happens dunnit? New people come in with new ideas, change the colour scheme, redecorate and refurbish the executive washrooms. Meanwhile, everyone else just files the revamped mag in the same place and pretty much carries on as they were.

Was a while back , but as I recall, the campaigning wing tried to do what happened to CTC and take over (see also League of American Wheelmen) the touring types fought back successfully however and the campaign ers limped off to form their own organisation, FUB.

What does this TLA stand for?
FUB, or shouldn't I ask?
