Finally after a six month absence I am returning to work. I can now walk unaided, albeit with background pain and I can even cycle 35 miles, though very slowly. All in all, making great progress.
In the budget and based on OH report, there is a sum of money to buy me a new chair. I sit for at least five hours a day and maybe more to start with as I get back up to speed.
I think I need something that doesn't 'hug' me, i.e. a flat seat as even soft chairs are hurting my damaged leg.
But that's all I know. I have googled a bit and there are some with knee support, anyone have experience of this? Is there something that you can adjust every nook and cranny as that might help, although may need a seat fitting?!
Ideally I would try them out, but that may not be possible - the ones in staples and IKEA don't seem to adjust enough.
If not, I'll bring pillows etc. and make what I have work!
Thanks all!
