Right to Ride conference in Leicester

Did anyone go? Was it any good?

I notice that Cllr Kitterick gave a talk on developing a cycling city - which made me laugh. Bloke's the biggest tw*t I've met in a long time and doesn't even ride a bike

Yep, me and Mrs TF went, think she must have been the youngest there. Interesting to hear your views on the Rt Hon Cllr, he came across as very plausible. Don't get me started on the CTC though..... Nice free lunch!

Kitterick/Leicester City Council talk the talk but deliver little.

They are very quick to take the credit for Cyclemagic being in Leicester but we get NO funding from them and yet deliver special needs cycing projects for their special schools and day centres.

I once named a cycle route barrier after the council leader because he ignored us for months. It had a brass plaque and everything. The media loved it and he soon decided to listen
