Hancock's Half Hour is still funny.
My ultimate disappointment....The Goodies!
So upsetting to watch them again. At the time I practically needed to wear Tena to watch.
More funny nowadays is to watch old Tomorrow's World.![]()

i quite like the first series and think it still stands up ok - hey it's got Brian Blessed doing his barbarian king thing, and you can never get too much of that. My favourite one is where Edmund is fixed up to marry a "beautiful princess" who turns out ro be about 9. In a scene probably not possible today they're in bed together and a resigned Edmund has to tead her a bedtime story - all done in a totally innocent and non-pervy way I might add. Elizabethan one probably the best, but have to say the Great War one is the least of them especially looking back. Even ignoring the lazy Lions led by Donkeys cliche, just not as good.
Hmm, Call My Bluff, worth a try?
Loved it.
The modern equivalents, 'Would I lie to You?' and "Unbelieveable Truths' have usurped it though.
A quality show.No-one does mindless thuggish violence like The Professionals any more. It used to be wholesome family viewing.
Vega$ and Chopper Squad spring to mind... loved them as a kid, but the odd episodes i've dug up recently have proved them both to be appalling... especially Vega$... do all of Dan Tanner's female friends only have bikinis in their wardrobe![]()
