Well, yes, but I'm struggling to imagine what tales would get the 10th or 37th bits. It must be some rather compelling fiction!

I think it works a bit like a gambling addict chasing their losses
They refuse to admit they are wrong and everyone else is right.
The story is clearly BS to everyone except the victim who refuses to believe or admit they are wrong.

Unfortunately many people are quite lonely and so quite gullible, so these scammers target them with tales. It works all too often.

Bizarrely I am at a comfortable age (56) where I have been married over 30 years, and I am seen as "safe" by young ladies

I have no illusions about this, but it is fantastic being able to chat without the possibility of any ulterior motive undermining things

What a load of bollocks. You've mentioned on more than one occasion on these boards how "safe" you are around young women, which is a nauseating phrase in it's self. However your faux lack of awareness that firstly young women are regulalry ogled, catcalled, pressed up against or worse by middle aged tossers and secondly that young women aren't intensely conscious of it and see any man over 30 as some sort of comforting father figure is frankly pathetic. It also appears to me that you're trying to make a rather thinly veilied suggestion in these posts too, but perhaps I should leave it there.

You are of course entitled to your own misinterpretations, the post is over a year old and has multiple likes from those who actually understood what was posted, I suspect there will be the usual likes from others who are following their own personal agendas, as opposed to the content of the thread

I will stick with the likes of those who understood rather than those with another agenda

Hmm.....when I was a young man I was regularly groped by older women, I didn't like it. I then spent 25 years in a male only environment. At 53 I entered the public service in a large mixed sex workforce and whaddyaknow, I am groped again by women. Culminating a few weeks ago in me being the sole male in a ward of 6/7 nurses/hca's and being obviously groped (by a women perhaps 20 years younger) with the groper saying "Yeah, in a minute, I am just groping the porter".........perhaps it's all good fun if you are female....

The thread..........it's an awful story, I have a pal on holiday right now (with a Filipino woman) , he's taken her to Spain, then onto Canada to see her daughter, every penny on him.
