Salad cream or mayonnaise?

There can be only one condiment hereinafter. Which is it to be?

Probably people who use salad cream would wear boat shoes on dry land.

Just returned form the local shop to buy fresh bread and saw a bottle of 'salad cream'...ingredients in descending order :

water
spirit vinegar
rapeseed oil
sugar

and further down, pasteurised egg yolk.

I cannot think of one food item that would be improved or enhanced by the addition of this muck.

Left over Christmas turkey and stuffing with salad cream sandwiches. Bette than the Christmas lunch.

Nothing at all...if it was not pasteurised and also included some egg white too and there was more of it instead of water and sugar!

Plenty of things use egg yolk but not the white. Seems a strange objection.
If the eggs weren't pasteurised it wouldn't have much of a shelf life. 🤷‍♂️

Plain mayo or can you add things? I use it as a base to make other sauces mainly so mayo. But if it was a shootout between plain mayo or sc as a condiment, then probably salad cream.
