I got 5 today, all in a row behind a tractor doing about 20mph. I found myself being held up so went past the line of traffic, then the cars started speeding up! A couple of the buggers wouldn't let me back in so I had to pedal like a mofo to get past a VW then pull a hairy move across a mini-roundabout and pull in front of him (safely this time), I felt less bad about it than I thought as all of the cars had overtaken me then slowed right down when there was no need to do so.

Do you know what really annoys me with car drivers? When they get a slow moving object like a milk float or something, they will sit behind it.
If that was a cyclist, they would be trying their best to squeeze past it.
Its the same with tractors, people wait behind it.
Im often going faster then tractors, and still get people trying to squeeze past me, or overtake me in a place that isnt safe.
But if its a tractor, they will wait, until its very safe, and often hesitate(this is when i often pass)

But folk like Joe seem to want to create animosity, questioning if I give the car a wide birth at all times?

Your 17/18 right? Do what most others your age are doing and go out, socialise and experience life, work on those skills, meet a girl take her out and have a laugh.

Thanks. Its been 6 months properly(been longer actually), and she hasnt had enough of me yet. She must be mad!
I come on here in the evenings/when i dont have much else to do.
Unlike many of the sad farts that spend the whole day on, asking people if they want tea/battenburg/scones and whatever else.
Anyway, back on the subject of passing cars. Anyone in London going to come in and tell us they pass hundreds of cars a day?
