Seriously, what's with the Scotland bashing?

Scotland is a beautiful part of the country, with landscapes vastly different to much of England, especially the further north you go. I love England's quaint villages and rolling pastures, but I also love the mountains, the sea lochs, and the bleak heather covered moors. Brilliant cycling country.
