Just what we need, more dick-waving about 'how I nearly died once'.

what's the equivalent of that phrase for women? For being human they are wont to do/express the same stuff for better or worse.

Don't think I've ever had a near death experience on a bike myself - still time I suppose.

They say it is possible to die laughing so I am glad we have TMN to keep us safe from that fate.

Nearly died last night by staying in a hotel outside London and venturing out for dinner.

Nearly died this morning by riding 60 miles without a helmet.

Will nearly die tomorrow of low-culture-shock unless I can get back to London in time.

Not quite certain the point you're trying to make here, or why I've been brought into this thread by yourself. If it's purely on health grounds/due to an existing medical condition, it's not funny.

Every thing else was a buzz or someone else's fault ..

Was It Pancreatitis? I lost a similar amount in few weeks with that

Forgive me. My only near death experience on a bike is my attempt to break the land speed record on a Raleigh Chopper two up in 1976. Broke my leg and my stunt coordinators arm. We so very nearly did it, and the attempt was immortalised in the film The Right Stuff.
