Have now acquired this oddity:

My brother picked it up for me back there, will remain in the shed till next trip in March. Had my folder stolen in town last time, so this will do as a replacement, non folder is ideal. Know next to nothing of it's pedigree, other than it strongly resembles a Raleigh Twenty, albeit an updated version. Having regular BMX size wheels and V-brakes is what really caught my eye, and it appears to have the more modern 3-speed SA hub and fittings. I've searched the web for info, but not much there - has anyone seen one before, or have any thoughts ?

It looks like the type of bike sold by the large French Supermarkets

I'm inclined to think that Bronx were a British manufacturer that has since gone under. They can't have made a big impression anyways, so little info about them. Velo-Marche is French for Shopper Bike, and that's about all I know of them for now.........

I shall be on the look-out for a cheap Moulton soon.
I've never ridden one.
I have an F Frame Moulton and found it a little bouncy unless care was taken to pedal smoothly. I do really like it, and fitted clipless pedals as they help me to pedal smoothly.

Thanks for reviving this fred @FrothNinja. Here are some small wheelers that I have / had recently.

My latest small wheeler, on the beach in Oahu three weeks ago. I love this bike, I’ve barely ridden my other bikes since buying this in July. The fragrant MrsP has one too.

My much documented 1967 Dawes Kingpin, gone through many iterations, this is the the latest. I’ll never sell this bike, even if I wanted to, I’ll never recoup the money spent. Read about it HERE

Paid 25 quid for this 1985 KP. Nice bike, kept it for about year after doing it up, then sold it to another collector last year.

I fancied blinging up a kingpin, this was purple when I got for £30, rebuilt the gears, and rebuilt the wheels with new spokes, had it powder coated Gold sparkle, new drive chain etc. I still have this one, probably will never sell it.

A Puch Promenade from 1976 if I recall correctly, paid the £30 for it, it was in a bit of a two n eight, but it polished up well, with some new parts, the handles bars were rusted and had been painted black. More details about it HERE. I sold it last summer.

Another Puch Promenade that I paid £30 for, to use as a donor bike for the red one. Now sold.

I was given this R 20, during the pandemic, I did it up and sold it for what I spent on it, gave the money to a bike charity.
