If I am not mistaken it's black...the key reason I have scrapped the plug at £300!!!

Enjoy if you go for it however
I thought you'd finally seen the light and got over your black-a-phobia

Good choice! I have just about worn out my Pearson Touche which is aluminium, I have been down to see Pearsons and have specced a steel framed fixed [yes I know yours is freewheel but never say never as riding fixed makes you smile], can't wait to get my new steed in time for the winter months.
Very pleased you avoided Fixed Gear Frenzy, they are to be avoided at all costs, worst company I have ever dealt with.
Enjoy your new bike.

The only other bike I really considered as this thread was the charge plug, but I just couldn't get past the black paint on the 2014 model...quite a heavy beast too at 12kg, the touché appears rather lighter

There is a 2013 pale blue plug on fleabay but I think the touché is a much better bike which will go beautifully with the pave and rest of the stable

I popped into pearsons earlier to enquire on cost to convert to bullhorns and normal brakes, seem quite a lot so will see how I get on with drops first, possibly with cross brake levers (I have some spares lurking somewhere)!

Yes, FGF seem to get awful feedback...!

that N+1 +1 then vickster ?
At least I would say, need to sort the storage out!

you'd never catch @vickster committing such a faux pas. I was riding with her yesterday; she co-ordinated her new stolen goat jersey with matching white and blue socks. Only the copper coloured bike spoiled the look.

(scarily, this could be the beginning of her next n+1)

Everyone just step back. Don't try to stop her. She's going to buy one, and if you get in her way, you'll just get hurt.

(shopping trip via Old Street and Brick Lane towards Hackney next weekend, I suspect. )

My bike rolls in about 8kg without lights and the rack, but with guards !
Do you have drops? I am thinking a switch to bullhorns is in order ;) It needs to look different to the rest of the stable (other than the lack of dangly bit at the back)!

Reckon it'll go well with this?

Colour co-ordination is good - I'm red and black like the bike.

Yes I'm on drops - Ritchey Pro Stem and a Ritchey WCS bars - very very light, but very very strong - survived my recent crash ! Keep it 'traditional'. I am not a fan of bull horns. Got Shimano R400 levers and BR550 callipers on mine, both ends (two brakes). They do stop me very quickly.

I'm not good at braking on drop bars, I struggle from the hoods - need to see the shape, if Shimano needs to go asap. Bullhorns or cross levers are the option

This bike...
3T ARX team stem, 100cm
3T Rotundo Pro bars, 42cm
