I thought so too. And Uncle Phil's description of the tactic is spot on. It must have been infuriating for the others, almost impossible to buzz in. I loved Clement Freud's delivery for that alone!
Can't agree about Paul Merton though. Yes, his wanderings into the surreal are funny but I find him too self-aware and seemingly needy of accolade.... and too damned serious about winning! It was always a game for Freud.
