Behind bars for cheating? You're going to need to build some big prisons!
He did a lot more than just cheat!

Publicly describing Emma O'Reilly as a "Lying, alcoholic whore" ... for telling the truth!

Effectively ending the careers of several riders for crossing him.

Arranging for Greg Lemond to be threatened with details of his childhood sexual abuse being leaked.

Lying under oath in a lawsuit which sought to recover bonus payments from him.

And so on and so forth ...

Not for cheating, but for fraud and damaging people’s reputation and careers.

That’s is exactly why he should be serving prison time.

As I recall both Wiggins and Froome are asthmatic, and both use salbutamol. I do too; it's more commonly known (in the UK at least) as Ventolin - the blue inhaler thing. As far as I know there are no demonstrable benefits of using loads of it - in asthma your airways constrict making breathing difficult. Salbutaomol opens them up again, so you can breather normally. What it doesn't do it make them bigger than their natural size. It levels the field, but it does not and cannot give an 'advantage' even if you exceed the dose.

The drug that is involved with the questions around Wiggins was a powerful, rarely used drug for hay fever - triamcinolone - which perhaps coincidentally has a potential side-effect of helping people lose weight. It was given as an injection which raised questions in the medical community as it as seen as an absolute last resort treatment.

Not just that, but the key ‘side effect’ is weight loss without power / strength loss. Handy that.

Interesting. I’m not an asthmatic, but if it helps you lose weight, perhaps I will consider it. I’m not making fun, just fed with not being able to shed 20lbs no matter how much I diet and exercise. Getting desperate.

This stuff is administered intravenously. It should only be used under strict medical supervision. It will lead to ‘dramatic’ weight loss, too quickly for it to effect power.

I was just curious that it might be something one can just pick up the the pharmacy. Being prescribed by a doctor, well, that, of course will not be done. Just looking for a simple way out. I’m thinking of going on a 7 day green tea diet. Losing weight and helping to eliminate type 2 diabetes seems to be a positive side effect, so to speak.

Losing enough weight to help with type 2 diabetes is a very good idea. I’d advise doing it by eating ‘clean’ and dropping booze out of your diet, rather than any of the ‘fad’ diets, or alternate day fasting regimes though, as these are increasingly being proved to be a poor idea in anything but the shortest stints, due to the unusual effects on hormone balance ( of which insulin is one ) which come with them. Good luck with it though:thumbsup:

Thank you for the advice. I do eat clean as much as possible. Most of our food we purchase is organic, non GMO. I have eliminated alcohol from my diet. I exercise as often as I can. I have a full physical exam tomorrow. My doctor prefers the alternative approach as opposed to mainstream medicine when possible. I want to discuss Fasting and it’s benefits. I watched a video called, “The Science of Fasting.” I found it very interesting. Patients even being cured of RA, and diabetes. I will see what the doctor has to say. Thank you again.

Short term the ADF approach has a benefit, for anything over a few weeks there are issues. ‘Diets’ are short term solutions, not lifestyle choices. If you bear that in mind you’ll be fine:okay:

Absolutely. I wouldn’t go beyond 7 days with Fasting. I totally agree. I’m not keen on these so called fad diets, it is, and I agree with you, it’s about a lifestyle change.

What a mentality sick person. He had no qualms about hurting others. He couldn’t care less what it was that he did. If you got in his way, he would attack you like a lion. I’m just glad it’s all been out in the open and he’s stripped of his 7 Tour titles. But one can’t help but feel compassion for those whose lives he has destroyed. I wonder how he lives with himself? Is he truly remorseful? I suppose one would never know, because no matter what he says now, nobody will take him serious.

There's also a nasty rumour going around that he cheats at Scrabble. Can you get any lower?

Mind you, that's nothing compared to Wiggins, who is known to fart without saying afterwards, "more tea, Vicar?"
