for the past 10 years I have slept using a very heavy old solid ticking covered feather pillow. Weighs a ton!

I am a very hot sleeper and wake several times in the night to turn the pillow over ...bliss.

Those old pillows certainly keep ice cool and dissapate the heat.
I used to have to get up and turn the mattress over in the past .Thank god I don't have to do that anymore
