Experience slightly strangely seems to be easily dominating this year.
I miss Joe Johnsons accurate and concise commentary. Hendry and Davis are good but I tend to be watching with the sound off.

There have been some great matches so far. But I think Mark Allen has pulled the short straw against Wu Yize. Yize looks very clinical and I'd bet on him to not only win but to not miss any important pots. Murphy v Higgins is also a good match but they both missed a lot of easy pots yesterday, and neither of them look as sharp. In my opinion, Allen could have beaten either Higgins or Murphy comfortably and should really be in the final against Yize (where he would probably have lost). A few frames ago Yize cleared yellow to black at the end and looked every bit as magical s a young O'Sullivan on form. All the balls went in within about 1 minute

Murphy's still in that groove, Higgins not so much.

I wouldn't write Allen off. He knows how to grind out a result and Wu has never played a match of this importance before, so the nerves could well get to him as the winning line approaches.

Whatever the outcome, I think this is the most enjoyable championship for a few years.

I'm actually enjoying this frame, it's not often you see one like it.

Who has won? The Red button thingy is not working and the iPlayer is as useful as a.. Well.

It has the session up until it changed over... And then it tried to show us the Dennis Taylor final. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Despite a brilliant snooker behind the final black by Allen, which Wu escaped to hit the pink, the latter won and they were pulled off after just six frames at 7-7.

New record longest frame at the worlds.
