What's JTF?
Its a big shed/warehouse type thing. They are all over the country.
They sell all sorts of "cheap" products (plus some big names) eg rack upon rack of tools & workware by Draper but also a range of Stanley plus others.
They sell all sorts of cleaning and kitchen stuff.
Virtually any household item is sold there.
They now also do some furniture and fitted kitchens.
They do a massive range of fireworks for Nov 5th and new years eve.

Never heard of them but they do have one in Leeds it seems.

So it's like a down market B&Q. MM can't wait to go...not.

Don’t think they exist inside the M25

As far as I know its barm cake in the north of England

Point of order, it's a north west thing - you'll not hear anyone ordering a barm on the right side of the Pennines.

A mate tells a tale of playing a gig somewhere in the wilds of Lancashire (Bacup or Rawtenstall or some other such hell hole) and stopping at a chip shop on the way home for food. The lad in front of him ordered a "chip barm pea wet" which it seems is something of a local delicacy: a chip butty, with the breadcake dipped in the juices of the mushy peas...
