I have Sora Flightdeck shifters , and rd3300 rear derailleur. 8 speed

Im looking to put a long cage derailleur on and going 11 32 on the cassette, not sure whats compatible , guess you cant just throw anything on. will this do despite it saying 27T mX.

The 3500 will do, BUT you'll need the GS medium cage version and NOT the SS one. Chain reaction and Wiggle have these at a much lower price than the one you linked on ebay.

If its the GS version Medium Cage (there is not really a long cage on road bikes) it won't fit the new, 3500 will as will almost any M.T.B. RD the newer Tiagra and 105.
I can get 28th out of my old RD3300

Fettled! Sora medium cage 9 speed derailleur. 9 speed chain . 11-32 cassette and compact chainring 50 34 , all put on in the course of an afternoons sunshine and medicinal cider ^_^. Cant remember the last time this ran sooooo smoothly and and effortless shifting . Feels like a new bike !!! Thanks again for the advice fellas !!^_^
