That's bolognocksIt's only bolognese if it comes from the Bologneaux region of France. Otherwise it's just sparkling ragu.

Isn't spag bol a british interpretation of Italian cuisine anyway?Although I would not call it Spag Bol due to death threats I would receive from my Italian colleagues, I concur. However, I always add a spoonful of Marmite in too.
Spag is too messy, just about any other pasta is much better (not lasagne sheets!) or rather cleaner. Not spag. Other pastas work better.
Actually quite nice made with lentilsLentils in place of meat 👍
Yep all of that plus minceRed wine, pancetta, celery, carrots, milk, butter, chopped tinned tomato, onion, garlic, oregano, thyme.
Interesting. Not tried that. Would Pate work as well?Chicken livers. Don't add too many or it will be impossibly rich.
I've never tried pate. I'd stick to frozen chicken livers. ASDA do them but Tesco seems to have stopped stocking them. BTW, they are cheap as chips and a little goes a long way.Interesting. Not tried that. Would Pate work as well?
