Looking how the brake cable is twisted round the head I wonder if the bike is actually assembled correctly but some muppet has simply spun the bars/forks round when putting the bike on the display.

When I bought a bike from SPA CYCLES of Harrogate, it arrived on my doorstep in a friggin' cardboard box. The handlebars were turned 90 degrees, the wheel weren't even in it and the pedals were in a goddamned plastic bag taped to the frame.

... Is what you get when you order a bike for delivery.

Did your contract say anything about them doing any of this?
All tasks best left to someone who can be trusted. In my case, I trust me.
