Inspired by this thread I ended up buying that seersucker jacket. I could tell by the politeness of my nearest & dearest that it was not a hit, and sadly it had to be returned because, as I explained on the returns note, "The shoulder pads make me look like a 1980s estate agent."

Knowing Prince Charles, that's probably the same blazer photographed 30 years apart. He's noted for having expensive tastes in tailoring, but also for making what he buys last a long time.

Edit....I've just tried it on. It fits perfectly. Even the sleeves are long enough,which is unusual as i have quite long arms!!
