The extra light is really noticeable now, there are a few crocuses poking up through the verge on the way to work and the birds were really vocal this morning for the first time.

It's coming!!

First morning commute this year I didn't switch on the bike lights.

I might use the canal tonight before it starts getting too busy again. I've used the main road recently due to the weather (cross street/Chester road for the south mancs), miss the relative peace and quiet on the towpath. Not sure if I prefer exhaust fumes or lung fulls of whatever's been thrown into the wood burners on the barges. I'm sure some of them use old tyres to keep warm.

Nope , cant say ive noticed yet more light in the morning yet
Shift worker though so i do odd hours , yesterday i left at 6.45 pm and got home about 7 am so dark both ways .

I can accurately forecast when the snow will come. It'll be within 48 hours of me taking the snow tyres off.
