Storing tyres

Hi all

Just wondering if it is OK to store tyres standing on their edges or if they need to be laid down flat? Any problems with being near a radiator?

(My new tyres are currently sitting under my desk at work...)

The rubber will deteriorate quicker with extremes of temperature, with high humidity and being exposed to stress

Store them at room temp. and don't put any weight on them, and away from moisture (bathroom or kitchen or garden shed)

If you don't have a girlfriend I'd recommend storing them in the lounge next to your favourite magazines!
