I was told to use the car this morning by er indoors , but rode in this afternoon , avoiding the debris and destruction en route.

Still dark at 6 am I was probably being overcautious but playing a bit safe after my offf earlier in the year.

I was in Snowdonia, Pen y Pass to be exact. It was calm, but piddling down in the evening. Just before 01:00, the wind suddenly tried to blow the windows out of their frames!
My days cycling plans were cancelled for safety reasons as I didn't fancy getting blown off the side of Mt Snowdon as I rode up the Llanberis Path at 06:00

Edit: or ride into a 40mph headwind along the north Wales coast later in the day..
