I work for a small company that produces specialist software for the energy wholesale markets. I could have you all sobbing with boredom about how the market works (the UK electricity balancing mechanism is a peach) but all you need to know is that companies in the energy business are often the worst for paying their own bills. The buggers.

Also, I would advise anyone to never, never, NEVER-EVER-EVER, touch Scottish Power with a barge-pole.

In my experience, their incompetence knows no bound.

yup even as a DNO rather than meter operator they truly are shocking ( no pun intended) . that comes from being on the inside just after MANWEB disappeared

My daughter just txted me, having tried some of the left-overs, and said it was delicious and also vegan.

Hopefully you get paid on time. I don't trust any of them which is why I'm committed to swap and save as often as I can
