*accepts Tea, hands out Jaffas*

Mornings all!
Another sunny day, and I'm off on a pub ride this evening.
Let's hope I still have a bike by the end of it...

What a spiffing day, chaps, innit?

I'm relieved to report that the first night of YLOC's "The Likes of Us" went OK last night. At least, as far as I could tell from the back of the pit it did (can't see the stage).

Although the musical director did cross himself before kicking off the really fast number in the second half...

(Tickets available from the Theatre Royal box office if anyone's interested).

Accepts Jaffa cake.

Drafted a WVM most of the way in this morning. 6 minutes is all it took. Highest Avg. speed of the year.

Weeeeee. ;)

Any more Jaffa cakes? It's impossible to just eat one.

Woodjah believe it!;)

We got a new addition to tdr1nka towers last night!
Quite by surprise we have been given a long term loan of a Pashley ladies tandem!
The hope being I can start ferrying Miss tdr1nka to school on it by Monday!

Storage is going to be interesting and getting it in & out of the flat is going to be a bit of an exercise in itself.

Right, no time for tea & jaffa cakes I have a new wheel to collect! TTFN :bravo:

Do you mean inner tubes or are you doing frame repairs in your spare time?

If so I have a Carlton Ten which needs some TLC?

Well, if from the back of the pit, you didn't see any of the cast, that's a good sign, it means none of them tripped over the footlights and fell in....

My sister played the French Horn in the school orchestra, and as she was the entire brass section (as usual, we were a bit heavy on violins and woodwind.), they drafted in a boy from the boy's school who played the trombone. He had a habit of hooking his slide round the wingnut on her music stand, and pulling it away from her while she was playing....

(york light opera company?)

Nice tandem Tdr1nka. Lovely handlebars! But having been to your place, I agree, not the most wieldy of things!

I honestly don't understand how you'd get that in and out of the house, Tdr1nka!!!
It was bad enough getting my S/S in. The fact that we were both half-drowned may have been a factor there...
and Yay! for the new wheel! Those bits you've got have been up Ventoux you know...

Well yes, but then visitors do have to be adept at the limbo/bodyswerve to get in sometimes...

It's usually fine, if the cat keeps out from under your feet...

Sorry ArDee, it was inner tubes I was after.
One day I'll have a workshop with welders etc, and I'll let you know.

TBH I love the flat being full of bikes, since we got shot of the KMXs there has only been the Oadrat, Miss tdr1nka's bike and my lady's shopper. God the place has been empty.xx(

Do I count the tandem as one and a half bikes?

Tea to toast the wheel and high altitude bike bits!
