When I get round to giving things a sand and lick of love, I could put Tung over the Danish no problem, given that the constituents are related?
I've not tried it, but you can give it a go in a hidden area to see.
Usually with Danish Oil you would remove the finish and start again with fresh oil. For small areas you could touch up but an edge will show so you would take it back to the edge of the wood and lose the join in the physical edge where it won't show.

Straight Tung Oil is much easier, just a quick clean up of the surface and apply more oil. It is very forgiving and doesn't mind dust and bits in it as it all gets wiped off again as part of the process. Danish Oil traps dusts and stuff and doesn't let it go.

I have won some SPD pedals. I just need to get some shoes now.

Not so bad. New job's going fairly well, and I've just about recovered from climbing Mont Ventoux. And I had a great time helping out at the Get Cycling show in Nottingham. ;)

I was just going to offer a round of juice and suncream.

I've just come in from the garden/yard as it's too hot to sit for more than five minutes  I'd go out on the bike but I'm forcing myself to have a day off

My visitors are in transit and will be here within the hour. Not sure who I'm more excited about seeing - the dog probably ;)

Is the sun shining on your plot then Tdrinka?
