Plax, that forecast ties up with what the BBC predict for your neck of the woods . See you on Sunday morning.

I got mine from the Met Office. I find the BBC lie a lot. Like it's sunny when it's really raining!
Fingers crossed!

Where abouts are you in Wales again Plax?

Try putting in your location here.

I only trust the shipping forcast from the BBC these days, the inshore report can give you a better idea of whats going to hit inland over a 24hr period.

Afternoon all! Just back from my Mum's where I have been to see her graduate. And also, to catch up with little Oli, who was visiting with his mum for the same reason. Here they both are:

I'm very proud of Mum, who got a 2:1, in Humanities. And Oli, who at the age of 11 months can point at 'clock', 'light' and 'washing machine', which I think is very clever, and indeed more advanced than some 16 year old lads I've heard of...

I'll be seeing them all again in a month for Oli's first birthday, gosh is it really a year?

You all seem to have been having fun while I was away, if a little soggily at times. We also got very soggy one day taking Oli to the park, when a monsoon descended on us.

Anyway, I'm going to mooch for a little while longer and finish my tea, then head home via the shop for some milk. I was thinking of treating myself to a takeaway tonight, but if it carries on raining, I shan't be bothered to go out and get it, so I better also get something in for supper in case....

Blimey Arch, you really are the spit of your mum!

Yeah? I guess we are alike, yeah...

Here's the full set of Archer ladies for comparison. Note me looking a bit on the stiff side, because I'm in a frock and not used to it....

Characterisically, Mum couldn't find a skirt she liked and that fitted for the ceremony, so she made one, in a couple of days. She talks of 'taking it easy for a bit' now she's graduated, but I'll believe it when I see it....

We were both so proud of her, when she got her handshake from the Chancellor and all that. She's worked damn hard for this degree!

Bah, don't do yourself down, you look like a perfectly well-adjusted member of the human race (I mean that in a good way...).

Well done your mum (on all counts!), I suspect you're right on the "taking it easy" front - my mum seems to have more energy than me since I moved out of the parental nest!

Doin it now!

Hows trix NT?
Working all hours as usual. Stuck into a kitchen refit at the moment for a lovely couple and just did my last teaching day at college.

Not really looking forward to work this weekend in case I get another nasty phone call. I am going to hand in notice on that job I think and get a two or three day weekday job instead. It isn't worth the hassle of being threatened.

I am looking forward to my date though, if she is as nice in person as she has been in emails then I will have a Cheshire cat smile for months.

 Questions; Did you report the call in the end and is that the hostel job? You think the two were connected?

 Questions; Is the date tonight and where are you going?

Tea up!!
The call was reported to the Police and it has been logged as a race hate crime. All the evidence seems to point in the direction of the Hostel as the most likely origin. Apparently some of those suspected are BNP supporters. It isn't worth the fight on my part tbh, I have better things to do in life so I will look to do another job where I can do some good.

The date is on Sunday morning as a first meeting to check for any signs of love at first sight indicators. Not sure where we are going to yet, somewhere for a morning coffee I think.
