I had that assorted cough, cold business for six weeks wafflycat - I wish you good health...Covonia 'Night Time Formula' (not to be confused with Night Train Formula, which will leave you 'horse' and encumbered with the galloping trots...) did it for me.
I don't sleep much anyway so being kept awake with coughing...yuk!

Morning. Managed a couple of hours kip after my last post. I'm cream-crackered! Frehsly made hot honey & lemon drink is rather nice (local honey, fresh lemon juice, hot water), but I'd rather not have to drink it, if you see what I mean.

It was lovely at the Arboretum. Not many visitors, soft sunshine, lots of leaves just waiting to be kicked up. ;) Lovely,

I may try and find some leaves and scan them, why didn't I think of that?

Because I am a student and therefore full of procrastination ideas... Could be some nice images, if you made up a collage - good for greeting cards. Easier than photos, since you can get a close up without focus worries.

Apparently, a couple of weeks back, sis and bro-in-law took Oli across the park in his new wellies, and he thought it was hilarious that when he stood among the leaves, his feet disappeared....

Must be amazing to be that age, and experiencing stuff for the first time, and all the connections being made in your head and so on. A pity none of us remember what it's like, but maybe if we did, we'd have no room for the more grown up thoughts. Sod grown up, I want to remember what it was like the first time I realised I could put something inside something else.

My Mum said she knew I was a genius when she came across me trying to balance a fork in the ring that was the handle on the sash windows.

Any tea on the go?

And chuffy, I saw that rude remark about waffles' knickers, even if she's tactfully ignoring it. You naughty boy!

By eck it's chilly out, in't it?

Any tea going? I haven't had one in over a week - been in the US. You just can't get it there. You can't get it.

I got to ring not one, but several, Bendire's thrashers.

Thanks.

You're supposed to ask me what a Bendire's thrasher is.

What's a Bendire's Thrasher?

I'm guessing, a bird.

Tea up! Especially for the little coterie of broken hearted people in the corner.... (You'v a lot to catch up with Phil....)

Is there room in that corner for one more?

Oh dear! You as well?

At this rate, we'll have to start a whole new thread entitled "Gin?". Except I know Tdr1nka doesn't do alcohol....
