It was lovely at the Arboretum. Not many visitors, soft sunshine, lots of leaves just waiting to be kicked up.

Lovely,
I may try and find some leaves and scan them,
why didn't I think of that?
Because I am a student and therefore full of procrastination ideas... Could be some nice images, if you made up a collage - good for greeting cards. Easier than photos, since you can get a close up without focus worries.
Apparently, a couple of weeks back, sis and bro-in-law took Oli across the park in his new wellies, and he thought it was hilarious that when he stood among the leaves, his feet disappeared....
Must be amazing to be that age, and experiencing stuff for the first time, and all the connections being made in your head and so on. A pity none of us remember what it's like, but maybe if we did, we'd have no room for the more grown up thoughts. Sod grown up, I want to remember what it was like the first time I realised I could put something inside something else.
My Mum said she knew I was a genius when she came across me trying to balance a fork in the ring that was the handle on the sash windows.
Any tea on the go?
And chuffy, I saw that rude remark about waffles' knickers, even if she's tactfully ignoring it. You naughty boy!
