Add onions, spices and (reduced meat) and you've got a (whatever was reduced) curry going on there.
Need a hand? I'll bring poppadums. And lager.
Good point! And if I remember yoghurt, it can be a nice creamy pasanda/korma type. In fact if there's no reduced meat, it can be a veg pasanda/korma - Ive got red pepper and courgette in the fridge. Oooh, I even have some cashews and pistachios in...
On the other hand, ooooh, a Thai meal. Would be a bit extravagent, I've already had a Chinese takeaway on Friday (although the cold leftovers were Saturday dinner, so I stretched it quite well) and a pub lunch yesterday - well, I went for the soup rather than the carvery, to save money, and I had leftovers to use up for dinner anyway. It was an odd soup. Cream of Veg they said, and it was creamy, but it also had little bits of grated carrot and stuff in it - if I make a cream of something soup, it ought to be blended smooth - it was like they'd added the grated carrot in after blending More like veg IN cream, not cream OF veg. Odd. By the time I'd spooned off the liquid, it looked like a I had a portion of soggy coleslaw left in the bottom. Or am I just fussy?
Tell you what, save me a chocolate mint from when they bring the bill....
