Can't get that other pic uploaded just at the moment. Meanwhile, here's a wartime newspaper I saw on display at our local air museum, with a sentiment I heartily agree with. Or with which I heartily agree, whatever....
All this 'five a day' stuff is over rated I reckon....

Have to differ with you there, Arch (a first in itself).
Five portions of chocolate each day sounds ideal to me.

Well chocolate comes from a bean, so two bars of fruit and nut and that's enough.

Oh, five portions of chocolate, that's fine. I meant this fruit and veg thing. Chocolate after all, comes from the cocoa bean, a vegetable.

(One chocolate eclair BTW, is 4 portions. Chocolate, flour (from wheat, a vegetable, and butter and cream, both from grass....)

Ah, hoverfly got there first....

Ms tdr1nka is ill? Oh dear. Please pass along condolences and hoping she gets better soon. My I suggest that Ms tdr1nka could benefit from my patented (not really) tonsilitis soother? Get some fresh lemons and a big jar of honey. In a mug place the juice of a fresh lemon and a *large* spoonful of honey. Stir. Add hot, but not boiling water. Stir to properly dissolve the fruity sweet lemony-honey goodness. Wrap self in blanket on sofa, sip the hot lemony-honey goodness to soothe the throat. Repeat as often as desired, the more frequent the better.

No, definitely forgot the brandy.

To be fair, Waffles was slanting the recipe for young Ms tdr1nka, who is 6. Most 6 year olds haven't yet got the discriminating palate required for brandy. It'll be just as good with gin instead.

I have just been attacked!!

Her ladyship tried to hit me with a wet mop... Tut!

I was only pointing out the water was a tad to hot for the laminate wood.

Irrepressible, irrassible as ever and were it not for the fact her tonsils are up I'd say she's on top form!
She's had loads of fluids all day and her appitite is fine.
She's having another day off school tomorrow and is back with her Mum in the morning thru until home time on Monday.

I now have 5 days of missing her madly but enjoying the freedom, I do have the best of both worlds really.

Tea anyone?
