*gets in from ride*
Evenings all! Just had a pleasant ride, and substantially drier than yesterday. I did find that Tdrinka's wit was even drier than his towels.
I won't be around over the weekend - I'm on a mission to answer important questions about Welsh tea.

Taking the biscuit
I have felt knackered and damp all day after yesterdays day long deluge.

Teas up tho!

and Welsh cakes . Actually I don't like Welsh cakes, raisins and currents scare me.

Mind you - you did ride to Kings Cross and back twice! That's way above and beyond, considering the dampness. My shoes have only just dried out...

Mmmmm bara brith... Cearphili caerfilly caerfilli crumbly Welsh cheese...
At least it's not laverbread country.
Welsh cakes? Are they the things like thin scones? Delish!

@Plax - if currents scare you then stick to swimming pools.
IGMC.

Night Train

Maker of Things
I haven't had time to ride. So busy fitting an awkward kitchen for a client. They took me to dinner tonight though which was nice. I will have to carry on with it tomorrow and take a couple of hours out to teach my last class of the term. Yay!

I have a first date on Sunday morning, more a first meeting then a date though. She seems really lovely and pretty so I am hopeful.

Need a brew up before bed now.

Taking the biscuit
Everything went in the dryer again when I got home.
I left my shoes on the rad overnight and was greatly pleased to find them dry again this morning.

The escort from & to KX was a pleasure and all good experience on the Tea Steed.
Coming from MTB back to a road bike after 11 years there are some fundamental pointers one needs reminding of, especially in the wet, manhole covers, painted lines on the road, etc.

Ah, I see. I feel so silly now - it was so obvious! Mind you it took me ages to work out what LOL meant. It takes me several days to decipher my sisters "txt" messages. I feel old. I am definitely going to bed now!:tired::smile::tired: Nos Da!
