Where was that B) I have been there loads with the kids and do not think I have see that?

Walk into main engine hall (the bit you go under the road to), and head right. Ellerman Lines (for 'tis she) is about half way up along the right hand wall and is indeed great to watch.

If you look carefully at the con rods and bits on the non-cutaway side, you can see that some of them are not stamped with Ellerman's number, but with 35006, which is P and O, currently being rebuilt at Toddington, Gloucestershire, hving been nabbed at the scrapyard. I knew someone who'd worked on that project, and was most annoyed that they'd had to have new parts cast to make up for it....

I think describing Scotsman as 'naked' is an understatment just now. 'Dismembered' would be better....;)

It is a Royal train in the background - Edward the VII's I think. Also, we noticed that in the toilet at the end of Victoria's coach, there was a drop leaf table, which when raised would be perfectly placed to use whilst 'on the throne' so to speak. Was she really that busy, that she had to work, even there?

Kettle's boiling... Tea?

Morning All!

No tea for me thanks, I'm on the lemsip, trying to stave off the lurgy. I've a friends' wedding to go to tomorrow, so need to be feeling better by then.

When I had a rotten cold before Christmas, I got a bottle of ribena type squash (well, Morrisons own brand) and had several mugs of it made up with hot water. Seemed to make me feel better, I think there was a vitamin in there somewhere, it was a nice hot drink and very easy to drink (quite sweet). Also, no drugs in it, so no limit to how much you could have.

And the tricky thing about paracetamol is, you overdose, go to hospital, have your stomach pumped, feel fine, come home and two days later your liver fails. Apparently, sometimes...

Advanced warning Arch!
Miss T & I charging across the countryside by train on way to Darlington, should be passing York in next 1/2 hour!

Have tea and mail collecting gibbet ready!

Whoops! Missed you! I was working, honestly!

(Well, redoing the stuff I had to redo because I made a stupid mistake. And now I'm worried by some of the 'real' results...)

Anyway, hope you're having a good trip!

You'll have to both stop off in York one time, for the compulsory trip round the NRM...

Any tea on the go? I didn't get out of the office until 7pm tonight so my plans for a mammoth housework session have fallen by the wayside. I think a soothing cuppa is in order.
