Can you smell the factory from your house?

Not from here but in Uddingston you can smell a pleasant sweet smell at times.

 No one to help me celebrate. Well just a small celebration then. I started Weight Watchers last week, and this week, I have lost £1.50 1.5 pounds. Yes, it is a small amount, but it is in the right direction. And I went out for a meal last week and had fish in batter with chips and messy peas, followed by chocolate pudding. ;)

Irrc, a certain esteamed member of this thread was doing something similar.

Good going Speicher,1.5lbs is more than I've lost in the last 2 or 3 months.
Not a good time to be dieting though, too many temptations coming up near Christmas, and I tend to eat more in the winter-must be a hibernation thing

I agree Potsy. But it has reached the stage that if I did not make a start then the problem would just get worse.

It is basically healthy eating, with lots of flexibility. I had already cut out most of the alcohol, all the chocolate, and the crisps, despite indications to the contrary on this thread. ;)

Most seasonal food I can manage without, with the exception of Mice Pies  Mince Pies. I could have a couple of mince pies each week. But for instance, today in the Baker's I just purchased a multi-grain loaf, and no cream cakes or mince pies, and in the Fruit and Veg shop I did not buy any of their scrummy delicious biskits or cakes. :wahhey:

Do you think I deserve a lovely cup of Tea?

You certainly do. But in the meantime, have this one from the bottom of the pot, and I'll put the kettle on again.

We also are celebrating. Last Tang Hall Monday! Never again will we have to 'do' Etty Avenue.

Wednesday is Last Tang Hall Wednesday, and then we're really free!

As a result, we had chips at lunch time, and I bought a double portion of yesterbake, so there are sticky buns left for tomorrow as well.

Meanwhile, here's a chicken to feel sorry for...

Oh, oh! I forgot!

The third box we picked up this morning contained an unbroken llama* shaped Pinata. I sat him in the back of the trike and he rode around with us for the rest of that trip, steadily getting higher and higher as more boxes were collected in, peering out of the top of the pile.

I've christened him Raoul, and we think we can't bear to beat him to bits. Well, I can't.

*looking online, he might be a donkey. But I like llama better.

 A four hour power nap?

I wondered what happened to you!

Tomorrow I need to take Tasha to the Vet for her annual check-up and injections. She is extremely difficult to catch, so wish me luck in my attempts.
