Two different type of bases...
But the fittings were the same,
One was going to be a straight morse key, and the other a micro bits one, Google it
The print of all the extras printed okay without supports luck enough.
Bloke arrives at 15.00 to pick up so I better go get ready...
Technically the quads can work well but if used willy nilly in all weathers...
Just back from the W but almost -3 the overnight low....
Fair enough, explains a few things.
You printed the whole morse key, aside from contacts.
Lucky you, don't think you'd have time to start from scratch given the time he's due.
You laying on a spread for him, showing how you did it all. Leaving the printer to itself.
Used willy nilly, whatever the weather. New toys for some of them...
Olde haunts again... Supposed to be colder tonight, with warmer weather returning next week.

Dash it...Missed the morning by a few minutes :hello:
Mrs M then needed me to put a couple of prints up, no rest for the wicked on such as sunny afternoon.
It's from my last 'don't tell anybody cross-border raid' ssh
Enjoy your day

Correctomundo...
They are prototypes (now I know)
So improvements will be made so I can print the finished article, I might have one of the micro bits so I can at least practice Morse Code...
I'll see...
Thought it best so we could chat without interruption.
Getting positive feedback so all is well...

6.4c just now, so heading in the right direction, Hefty thick fog in the Forth Valley earlier...
Off to wait on a phone back...

By a few minutes!
You were hanging yer own work or summat that took her fancy whilst in a shop. Sunny afternoon, which part of the country are you in?
Any good, in yer opinion, compared to your work. Check behind you before tapping out a reply...
I'll try, promise...

And you got the job of testing the printing...
Will it be you that makes the improvements to it. Gone rusty on the morse code front with all this near automated stuff?
Do it blindfolded...
Suppose the interruption is telling you tea's ready, and if you want any, get yerself down...
It's one thing I suppose...

Closer to double figures here, with some dressed for june-july complaining its cold.
Where's it bin?

Yep, I only print.
I did the 50% models to try out print settings, now in bin.
I'm baffled at amending files, I guess i could learn but I'll let others..
In 1989, I could send and receive up to 15 words per minute. I never sat the test. A pass was 12 wpm....
I seem to have lost all dah dit dahs from my memory.

Yer own work then?
Damp here with a fog rolling in off the hills here...
More snow promised...
Slightly warmer, but not much...

Suppose he's missing summat?
50% model no good as a micro mini key...
I can understand you wanting to leave the amending to others, but if you don't try you'll never learn anything.
Quick enough not to have to bother taking the speed test.
So long as it's only yer dah dit dahs that you've lost.

Well, relatively clear skies so far this morning seem to be ruling out the promised snow.
Currently sat at 1°C here, just about the coldest part of the early hours, can't see it getting much lower.

Funnily, he's got that idea now.
I'm about to go try another test (50% one) using another setting, which I should have YouTubed first.
I'll do that later.
I'd try to amend if it were mine, but leave it to those who know what they want.
I could get a good morse decoder so I could only need to send...

You still wet, dismal n'depressing...
Sounds as though you got what were down here. Imagine if that had fallen as snow, there'd be a mass panic. What got you dragged outside, on a day like this.
I can do those, easily.
Depends, how much is getting yer drift gonna cost....

Maybe he's used to do model kits when he were younger, a common feeling with some kits.
Second half size print, and Bob, doing well? Yer gonna check on how to do what yer not certain about later, after yer've dumped another in the bin!
What don't you like about it, that yer wanting to change it?
There's no app for that!
That's surprising in this day n'age.

CoPilot says it's 8M8, put it through one of the many "translators" online gives BOB. Meaning CoPilot fails its Morse Code test on this one.
Duration two seconds.

Not really, nipped out to pick up a parcel as we arranged a nearby pickup, as we usually go galivanting on a Sun...
3.7c though not Med WX but it'll do...
Dry tomorrow but dunno if we'll do anything....

I put my call into CoPilot thing on Edge, useless but Google? wow, so scarily accurate.
That Test? failed miserably..
I should have read up or watched first. I'll give it a break until I can be bothered. I'll stick with the settings I have now.

Some price for Airfix models now, I remember 2/6p got you the basic-sized ones from Woolies, Christmas and birthdays for the bigger models plus the wee tins of Humbrol paint...
Next to the model bit was a bit with plastic flowers, I took one home to my mum, and when she found I'd been naughty, she took me straight back down to pay and apologise. I learned a very valuable lesson that day.
