ouch... Jlaw hurt me towards the end - good stage everyone. I over cooked myself at the beginning trying to keep my distance from turbo tommy and paid the price. Hopefully next week your start time will give me a bigger head start

I had to go like the clappers. I was trying to burn off 2 packs of jammy dodgers!

I thought you were going to catch me on the flat bob. I could here you in my ear whispering "I'm commin to git ya boy!" (I appreciate you're not actually from the deep south of America but that's the voice I was hearing in my panicked head...)

OK, Handicap in 10 minute countdown, scheduled for start five seconds before 8pm...

OK, 6 seconds before 8pm!

You may well have to type "h" twice when you enter the password, as it will take the first one as a request to open the help text! :banghead:

P.S. Has anyone else noticed the top right hand corner is partially covered by a white box since the bsim upgrade? Makes it hard to see the time. etc.

thank you for the heads up with "h" button - I was panicking a few minutes before the start.

Well done @bert1971 that was a proper battle. @LBHIFI I was pedalling my little legs off to keep you behind at the end.

I had both garlic bread and garlic mushrooms with this evenings meal and very unpleasantly burped at myself the whole journey. The only positive is that I was unlikely to get mauled by a vampire (or Mrs Soarerv8 for that matter).

You were creeping back on me on the downhill sections (probably my fault for choosing this evening to update my weight to my svelte new 92kg) so I knew I had to go like the clappers on the last rise to keep you behind.

Enjoyed it but I obviously out performed myself the first time I did this ride.

when I set up the ride tonight I didn't get the yes/no option to start with the last rider once password was entered? anyone else?

My fault, sorry. I forgot to move the starter off the start line, which I normally do to make sure everyone gets the yes/no option.

I'll do better next time, honest! :shy:

Well done all. J Law, I thought I'd get you at the end for sure, but I think you saw me coming and gave it the berries. Looked to me like you beat me by half a second or so.

First time since the update for me, does feel a bit different. Or rather the Watts do seem to under read to what I think I'm putting in effort wise....not that it's an issue, since we are all in the same boat, just a bit disorientating. Bill...what can I say...had no chance of keeping up with you when you turned that key in the ignition.
And Bob...you too...rinsed me within about 3 miles. Although the disconnections were a bit off putting, but seemed to settle down once I screamed at the kids to stop playing on their tablets in bed and go to sleep.
