Did one of each, a steady one on Zwift, although I forgot to update the weight as it is set up for my son, so I achieved a higher watts/kg than is real, this effected speed. I have set it to private on Strava as it doesn't deserve any kudos.

I then did the league bonus sprint and didn't do well, the effects of the food and sangria in Majorca need sorting so back to the drawing board, I'll be riding Bkool regularly this week, and next, and the week after. I expect to see the fitness level dip and then start to rise up again.

I went to see the consultant about my collarbone today, it has started to fuse, but I'm not allowed out in the great outdoors for a few more weeks so might as well rack up more virtual miles.

The wifi from my house to the garage isn't the strongest but usually OK to maintain 3D rather than video which suits me. I did a hillyish 320 pointer on Sunday morning, the signal was shocking and the road was a mix of tarmac and grass. It was like riding a 3D roller coaster and I had to look away or risk barphing!

Need to order some wireless power line adapters!!

Torn between zwift or Bkool tonight. If Bkool, my fitness rating is likely to drop, but do I care that much.....

Is it really the case that Bkool drops your fitness level if you do easier rides on it? I was under the impression it only dropped your fitness level when your last FTP test expires? That's what I've experienced anyway....

Powerline adaptors and Ethernet cable for my garage (detached from house), no connection issues at all.

I think some 3D rides are just messy graphically like that - I don't think that's necessarily down to your wifi signal

Mine has expired, got the email at the weekend, there is no dodging it, my fitness is down on where it should be (collarbone and holiday excess). I'm going to just have to accept the transition and console myself with chocolate....no wait the kids have eaten all the Easter eggs...........

Yeah, once it expires I'm not sure what it bases your new fitness level on? An average since the last FTP? Or maybe your highest 30 minute watts output in that period? Any idea?

It's the watts/kg on your next ride over 30 minutes or a proper FTP session (20 minutes)

It is based on your next 30 minute or longer average power or the next ftp test. If you improve on either rating the the ftp goes up. It does not automaticly go down unless the ftp value has expired. You can improve at any time, the downgrade only come after the ftp expires.

In the day when they were trying Google Earth routes I spent ages trying to fix my PC until I realised that Google Earth 3D views are base on special 2D views from different angles combined so the closer you put the source of viewing to the ground the more the image degrades and you ended up riding over flat houses and cars until you came to an area that they had done more imagery on. I'm glad they dropped it as it was a nightmare!
