@berty bassett and @bazzer99 Can you make it tonight?
Yeah. I should be there tonight for team green. I don't have a headset but am sure that won't hinder us too much. Have been out on the road for a few rides now so be good to get back on the turbo. :bicycle:

@theboxers Can I suggest that you adjust your weight lower before the ride, then you should be on a level playing field, both up slope and down, with the rest of Team White?

Looking at previous results, 76.5 Kg should give you 2.4 Watts/Kg, much the same as others in Team White.

It will be interesting to see what effect it has!
I try an remember to do that before the stage. In fact I'll do it now

Done, I'll just have to remember to change it back .

If enough people are still keen for a Tuesday Handicap during the summer, I have had a thought how we might add an interesting twist.

How about a weight handicap?

If I go through the results and calculate a weight which gives the same watts/kg, that should make for an interesting ride, and people can just turn up and join in by setting their weight to the allocated Handicap?

Although we can equalize watts/kg we can't equalize watts, so it would only work on an incline, but should mean everyone could ride up at roughly the same pace.

Anyone fancy giving it a try next week?

I'd be up for it in principle Geoff - always enjoy your different versions of the handicap races! Just please don't take my watt/kg figure from the last chaingang ride!!

Ooh yes, if this involves me eating cakes and pies to increase my weight I am definitely up for it

I'm feeling pretty rough with a cold - I am still planning to be at the race tonight unless I feel even worse later, but don't know how hard I'll be able to push, so apologies in advance Team Blue if I'm a bit crap tonight. Is it just me, @BILL S and @bobinski tonight as LBHIFI can't make it? Or is AAAC stepping into Team Blue kit tonight?

Why not Geoff. I'm always up for something different.

I've really enjoyed the TTT. Hopefully we can continue doing them too at some point.

Indeed! That w/kg figure you achieved has even frightened AAAC into going on a diet. :notworthy:
His was marginally higher but as you are on the upwards curve, who knows where it will end up. :bravo:
No pressure .

Team White i am now on par with Bridgy! Feel like crap! i will give it a bash tonight to try and sweat it out but if my headset thing doesn't work for any reason dont wait for me because i think i will struggle tonight!

Well tonight the more impressive figure is likely to be my snot/kg!
You have my sympathies for this xx(. I went through 7 weeks and 2 courses of antibiotics at the begining of the year of illness and then chest infections :cursing::cry:. I am still trying to recover to where I was before christmas :banghead:.
