If people are still keen, I'll try and find a slightly longer one for next week!

So long as we keep it below 30 minutes it should be OK, so we should be good up to around 8 km or 5 miles.

Geoff
Sounds good to me. I certainly enjoy the format -- even more than the case style we were running a while back.

@AAAC 76C no sign of your 8pm attempt so far!

P.S. I liked your renamed bkool username, nice co-incidence!

Also, pretty awesome power averages, you may have to put on an awful lot of weight to give anyone else a chance.

My guess is no matter how much you hobble AAAC he will win or die trying. There is something built into some people that makes them able to push themselves beyond the norm, call it the Bear Grylls gene or the Randulph Feines syndrome whatever it is I haven't got it, when the going gets tough and the tough get going I like to lie down for a nice rest.

Current Standings show how close to the target 5 watts/Kg most people got!

Edit: AAAC's session hasn't shown up yet, but he averaged 410 watts, so 5.4 Watts/Kg

@TurboTommy No idea why you came last, you put out the most watts of anyone (apart from AAAC) and were also very close to the target watts/Kg, like almost everyone else, but you were 4 minutes behind Andy!

Sometimes the simulation just doesn't seem to be working sensibly...

Geoff, I had a somewhat bissarre few moments where drafting seemed to lead to an increase in resistance. And then the resistance seemed to ease and then increase. It was if the sim couldn't read what was happening.

Did anyone notice AAAC was stopped at the finish line? That might explain why his time isn't recorded.

Yes, I wondered what had happened there!

Some great close racing there! Awesome power from AAAC!

I looked in at Turbo Tommy a few times and he was putting out big power but going really slowly compared to others - not sure why?

He did cross the line though, as I couldn't switch away fast enough so had to exit the session and come back in to watch the rest of the race. Another "feature" it would be good if @Bkool could improve...

Tommy was right next to me after the initial burst from the marker, then he just went off the screen. I thought he might of gone into the red and needed a moment to recover

Yup, it's mighty annoying -- I'd like to watch the other riders finish while I'm doing my cool-down.
