I think their info is a bit of a mess (and it's in danish), so you did a good job even to find the results:okay:
The power of the Google. I just googled chrono. cup 4 and it popped up in English. I did notice your kph was higher than the 3 riders who placed in front of you.

I just looked at the results and there is not much difference between the whole field. It looks like a little over 4 minutes between 5th and 50th place.

In perspective there is 'only' 3 minutes between 1st and 2nd place in the Giro D'Italia after two weeks and one stage and lots of miles and that is considered as almost irreversible baring a real upset
I therefore understand Lars' disappointment.over what I assume he is describing which works out to about 1 min 36 sec (4 sec/km for 15 miles = 4 x ((15/5)x8) sec = 96 sec)

Correct calculated AAAC .
The only consolation I can think of is that the time difference is mainly because of her improvement rather than my degradation.

Can't do the race tonight, I'm going clothes shopping with my eldest (yay...)

As painful as that course looks, I know what I'd rather be doing!

I don't think I'll make it either - determined to save my legs for Sunday, and I know that if I start the race I won't be able to hold back from going full pelt for 40-odd minutes! Will hopefully try and look in on the action though

Unfortunately I'm not going to be able to make it tonight as me and my bike are getting all ready for a "real world" ride at the weekend with Adam & Bridgy . Right now I'm not sure what scares me the most, Racing (lets face it, it's a race) with them, or that it's out in the real world instead of the turbo.

This is a pity because my new handicap weight has been considerably lowered by Geoff who took pity on me for my slothishness last week. Not sure if the new weight of 60kg would make me go faster or slower though. Might get a chance to try it out early next week hopefully if I'm in any fit state.

Also, can we get someone else to start Thursdays and Saturdays Chaingang ride from the League tab please?

Normal business hopefully resumed next week (or is that being a little optimistic?).

@BILL S - I'll be happy to start tonight's Chaingang ride though I'm not sure how many takers there will be.

I've not done it before, so a quick question.or two from any experienced starting marshalls

Do I go into the League Tab and then pick Details and Setup and turn off Atmospheric details. What about Ghosts and Bots - do I untick them for tonight's ride.

Also I suppose I have to keep pedalling for the 10 minute warm up period - I'll be shattered before I start.

I usually untick bots at least, as sometimes the session was saved with some setup and they are a pain in a multi-user ride. I would clear ghosts as well, unless you specifically planned to have some. As you say, the main one is real atmospheric details, as riding in the dark quickly gets tiresome.

You either have to pedal for the full 10 minutes, or not at all!

If you don't pedal at all while you start the session, then it (usually) counts down fully unless you start pedaling and then stop. When I do the Handicaps I start the sessions without ever being on the bike, and the count down runs fully and the race starts at the 10 minute interval.

I'll be there for my sins . As long as the air traffic controllers in France return to work (was due to pick my Dad up from the airport) :banghead::cursing:.

Just checking it is a 7pm warm up start tonight?
